Overview
From early March to late June, hundreds of different bird species will migrate to and through Texas. owever, the mortality rate of both migratory and resident species has continued to increase due to human activity.
By dedicating one of the most active months to see a diversity of different bird species, this campaign hopes to raise awareness towards the conservation efforts of maintaining these populations.
Public awareness would be garnered through a few events happening through the month, with the main event being a scavenger hunt.
For the scavenger hunt, people will be able to collect cards from public spaces such as Libraries, parks, community centers, etc. Each of these card would depict a different bird species.
Some cards would be harder to find than others, with the rarity based on the current population in the wild.
